There is nothing better than receiving rave reviews from clients. For me this is what wedding photography is all about … helping couples re-live their special day and creating images that they will love and treasure forever. Here’s some of their feedback.

I was the executive editor of The Knot’s web site and editing their magazines when I got married. I could not have asked for a better photographer than Josh. His shots are beautiful and classic … yet unexpected, spontaneous and fun — all at the same time. What made the experience of working with him even more perfect was his amazing personality and ability to make every person he photographed feel comfortable, and confident and relaxed. Josh was absolutely wonderful. He is bright, creative, responsible – a true professional and artist. He worked the entire time and even stayed about 30 minutes late (without charging me) as he was very interested in making sure several shots were completed. He had wonderful ideas – things I would never have though of. He took the most wonderful pictures of my dress and jewelry, but most incredible was his ability to capture people in action – our guests throughout the ceremony and reception, and the moment that my husband first saw me in my dress. Several people commented on how hard he worked, and how talented he was – and that was before they even saw my photo book! Josh was more incredible than I could have even imagined, and I knew he was excellent when I hired him. I didn’t know him before I hired him. No one referred me to him. I saw his work when I was visiting a hotel to consider it for my wedding (I didn’t choose that hotel) but a photo book was there of his – and it was absolutely wonderful. Josh was the first person I hired – I didn’t even have a wedding date. I “reserved” him for several weekends before I picked a date. He was wonderful. See Jennifer and Philip’s wedding.
Emily & Scott
Josh was our dream photographer in every way. We worked with him for an engagement shoot and then of course he shot our wedding as well. Before talking about the pictures (which were fabulous!), I would mention that Josh was great to work with – he was very professional and put everyone at ease immediately. He was responsive in the time up until our wedding. His work as a photographer completely blew us away. He has an eye for breathtaking shots and even made our formals look interesting and artistic. When we got our pictures back, we couldn’t believe how many creative and beautiful shots he got. We don’t have enough picture frames in our house to display all the pictures we love! I can’t say enough about how much we enjoyed working with Josh and how thrilled we are with the end result. We would wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone who wants to love their wedding photos! LOOK NO FURTHER THAN JOSH! He was outstanding in every way. Being a photographer myself, I had looked at over 200 photographers and his work always stood out ahead of the pack as dynamic, alive, fresh and new. I’d seen SO much ‘wedding schlock’ and just the same…. exact….. tone…… for ALL the weddings. He has an incredible ease and knack for capturing the moment and then taking it to a better place beautifully, creatively, and with a sense of humor.
Josh was the last photographer we met with. He’s laid back, knows his stuff inside and out, and took the time to let us get to know him openly and naturally. On “The Day” he always made us feel comfortable. He was on time, beyond prepared, and had an easy vibe/energy. It seemed he was magically always there yet completely unobtrusive at the same time. He made everything better.

The photos are fantastic! You really caught the feelings of the day and you obviously appreciated all of the sentimental artifacts in our home. I’m also impressed at how agile and flexible you must be in order to become nearly invisible during the wedding (unlike other weddings we’ve attended where you can’t even see around the photographers to catch a glimpse of the wedding party). Julie & Matt
What drew me to Josh was his ability to capture those really small moments of emotion – a particular facial expression, a gesture – that help tell the story of the wedding and the people involved. He has a great eye for it, and is fast enough to capture it before it’s gone. For example, there’s a close-up of Matt’s hands right after we exchanged rings; he’s running his thumb over the ring, and he’s getting used to how it feels to have it on, you can imagine what he’s thinking . . . there’s so much stuff in that photo.
I also love that we have a lot of pictures of people laughing, getting teary, rolling their eyes – reacting to whatever was going on. Josh got great shots of the important people at our wedding, and made the photos tell a story. Our mini-album is gorgeous, and we are having a VERY tough time picking our favorites for the big album. The pictures are just so amazing. I am literally sitting here with tears in my eyes re-living this most perfect day. The emotions you capture in your photos are truly incredible. I scoured the Internet and looked at many portfolios and then I saw Joshua’s book. His photographs reveal wonderful personalities filled with honest emotions. His people come alive and appear to pop off the page with their joy, laughter, tears or depth of feeling that Josh captures. His pictures are timeless. A photographer will be with you all day, so you need to like having them around. My experience with Joshua Zuckerman was amazing. Our wedding pictures are gorgeous – he made everything look like it was out of a fairytale. Besides being able to create beautiful pictures that told the story of our wedding day, he did an incredible job of capturing all the little moments too. For example, he took a photo of me and my father on the dance floor that makes me cry each time I see it.
I can’t recommend Josh enough. He’s very experienced and able to handle all situations in a laid back way. Before the wedding we went over logistics, timing and shot list, and he was very insightful in helping lay out a schedule. On the day, Josh went above and beyond, was courteous and kept behind the scenes taking one amazing picture after the other.
