There is nothing better than receiving rave reviews from clients.  For me this is what wedding photography is all about … helping couples re-live their special day and creating images that they will love and treasure forever. Here’s some of their feedback.

I was the executive editor of The Knot’s web site and editing their magazines when I got married. I could not have asked for a better photographer than Josh. His shots are beautiful and classic … yet unexpected, spontaneous and fun — all at the same time. What made the experience of working with him even  more perfect was his amazing personality and ability to make every person he photographed feel comfortable, and confident and relaxed.  I treasure my wedding photos — Josh managed to capture everything, even the special moments I missed during that whirlwind day.

LOOK NO FURTHER THAN JOSH! He was outstanding in every way. Being a photographer myself, I had looked at over 200 photographers and his work always stood out ahead of the pack as dynamic, alive, fresh and new. I’d seen SO much ‘wedding schlock’ and just the same…. exact….. tone…… for ALL the weddings. He has an incredible ease and knack for capturing the moment and then taking it to a better place beautifully, creatively, and with a sense of humor.

Josh was the last photographer we met with. He’s laid back, knows his stuff inside and out, and took the time to let us get to know him openly and naturally. On “The Day” he always made us feel comfortable. He was on time, beyond prepared, and had an easy vibe/energy. It seemed he was magically always there yet completely unobtrusive at the same time. He made everything better.

The pictures are fantastic! I don’t want to go to work — I just want to stay home and look at them all day long!  You have a such a great eye! The pictures are gorgeous and capture the day so perfectly.  It’s also amazing that you seemed to get at least one wonderful shot of every single guest.  We appreciate so much the energy and care you took with documenting our wedding – both on the day of and the work you have done since. I feel so lucky to have had you as our photographer.

The photos are fantastic! What drew me to Josh was his ability to capture those really small moments of emotion – a particular facial expression, a gesture – that help tell the story of the wedding and the people involved. He has a great eye for it, and is fast enough to capture it before it’s gone. For example, there’s a close-up of Matt’s hands right after we exchanged rings; he’s running his thumb over the ring, and he’s getting used to how it feels to have it on, you can imagine what he’s thinking . . . there’s so much stuff in that photo.

I also love that we have a lot of pictures of people laughing, getting teary, rolling their eyes – reacting to whatever was going on. Josh got great shots of the important people at our wedding, and made the photos tell a story. Our mini-album is gorgeous, and we are having a VERY tough time picking our favorites for the big album. Joshua Zuckerman was my perfect choice for my wedding photographer. Both my husband and I are THRILLED by our GORGEOUS wedding pictures (as are our family and friends).

I scoured the Internet and looked at many portfolios and then I saw Joshua’s book. His photographs reveal wonderful personalities filled with honest emotions. His people come alive and appear to pop off the page with their joy, laughter, tears or depth of feeling that Josh captures. His pictures are timeless. I thought I was looking at a Life Magazine instead of wedding photographs.

A photographer will be with you all day, so you need to like having them around. Josh spoke to me like we were friends, listened to my ideas and had great suggestions for making the day unfold as I envisioned. I liked that he appreciated my concerns. He addressed them and helped me find creative choices for all them.

My experience with Joshua Zuckerman was amazing. Our wedding pictures are gorgeous – he made everything look like it was out of a fairytale. Besides being able to create beautiful pictures that told the story of our wedding day, he did an incredible job of capturing all the little moments too. For example, he took a photo of me and my father on the dance floor that makes me cry each time I see it.

I can’t recommend Josh enough. He’s very experienced and able to handle all situations in a laid back way. Before the wedding we went over logistics, timing and shot list, and he was very insightful in helping lay out a schedule. On the day, Josh went above and beyond, was courteous and kept behind the scenes taking one amazing picture after the other.
