This was a second wedding for both Nancy and Doug. They chose the stylish Gramercy Park Hotel in part because of the intimacy of the space. Gramercy Park Hotel has a moody, old-world but modern aesthetic. To complement the space, I used a tilt shift lens for many of the photos to give them a softer, other-worldly feeling. Nancy and Doug had hired me because of my strength for capturing candid moments. They were delighted with the photos. That’s what wedding photography is all about.
As always, it was a pleasure working with Shira Citron, a wonderful and lovely wedding planner who made sure everything was perfect.
