I am always excited when New York Magazine requests to use my photos in their esteemed wedding issue. In the last issue, the magazine ran three images from weddings at The Lighthouse at Chelsea Pier (hard copy only) , Center 548 and a New Year’s Eve wedding in Central Park that took place a few days after the blizzard of 2010 coated the city. Photos from all three weddings are on my blog so take a look around.

Marla & Mark – 632 on Hudson Wedding Photos

Mark and Marla had a lovely intimate wedding at 632 on Hudson, one of my favorite venues in the West Village. 632 on Hudson has rich eclectic decor and old world charm so couples barely need to add extras. Mark and Marla personalized the space to make it their own with small details like the hand-written notes on the mirrors. The area nearby with cobblestone streets and cafes also make it a good location for couple portraits.

New York City Engagement Photos – Saniya & Hemant

Saniya and Hemant have endured many years of dating long distance (the empty bed triptych is a nod to this). They will be married in Thailand in 2012 and finally be united under one roof in New York City. They were a fantastic, energetic and willing couple to work with. I wish them both the very best.
