Bio

Hello and thank you for your interest in Joshua Zuckerman Photography.

Candid moments, humor and a sexy edge are the hallmarks of my photography. Creativity, hard work and experience are the engines that keep it all going. My greatest ambition is to create powerful images that commemorate, across generations, the people we love and the good times we have had.

Born in Minnesota I moved to New York City over 10 years ago to pursue my photography career. At my side was my then girlfriend of two weeks, Lisa. Fast forward to today and I am lucky to call Lisa my wife. Ava and Ruby are our two wonderful girls. We live in the bucolic Brooklyn neighborhood of Ditmas Park in an old Victorian house (yes I can patch a leaky roof).

The West Village of Manhattan has been home to my photography studio for over a decade. While my main passion is documentary-style wedding photography, I love to try new things, kid photography (coming to this site soon) being the newest offshoot.
